Solar spot lights like this one rely on energy from the sun to charge their batteries and provide light throughout the night. This means that there is no need to tap into the electrical grid for these lights to operate. The solar spot lights will work consistently, even if the whole neighborhood is dealing with a power outage.

Solar spot lights efficiently use energy stored in the rechargeable batteries when it uses multiple LEDs. In this case, 4 ultra-bright LEDs provide bright and effective lighting.
These Ultra Bright Solar Spot Lights can be used to light up many different features of a landscape at night. You can create an interesting focus by putting light on an appealing tree or a flowerpot. Another practical application would be to increase visibility along the exterior walls of a home, driveway or a walkway.

All solar spot light models are adjustable in their positioning. It could be directed up, down or forward, and at different angles around the post. All you have to do is to turn the wing-nut to secure its position.
Even on cloudy days your solar lights will charge, but it is always best to choose the sunniest location for your spotlight to get the most charge from the sun. Typically, the charge will last throughout the night. Your solar light will also turn on and off automatically every day.
Solar Spot Lights can also be used as a low voltage substitution to your existing outdoor lighting. At www.yoursolarlink.com, you can check out our Solar Calculator for your energy bill savings when you decide to replace your existing electrical spot lights with solar spot lights.
In the video below you can see it in a night setting. The 4 LED bulbs create an effective and sufficient directional beam.
The more LEDs a solar light has (it can be as much as 6, 10 or more LEDs), the sooner the rechargeable batteries will get used up for the night. This means that you could get fewer hours of a more intense light. But for this particular solar spot light, a perfect balance is achieved. The design gives the brightest light output with the longest duration throughout the night. And its LED bulbs never burn out.
These solar spot lights is corrosion and water resistant, so it’s safe to leave outside during all weather conditions. Each light is 6.5 by 7 inches square and 18 inches tall. They also come equipped with 3 Nickel Cadmium AA batteries and are ready to go right out of the box.
Today more and more people discard the idea of using standard electric lights and are exploring the possibilities of using economical and eco friendly solar lighting solutions.

Path solar lights are an excellent choice for lighting paths, walkways, driveway perimeters or other regions around your home and in your landscape. They are often used in multiples to guide the way along a set of stairs or a dark walk.
Video below is showcasing the Stainless Steel Conical Path Lights. They are sold in sets of 2 at Your Solar Link’s website.
These solar path lights are 5 and a half inches in diameter and 14 inches high.
To get the most benefit from the sun, try to position your solar lights in a sunny place. The fixtures turn on and off automatically for your safety and convenience. This also allows you to “store” the electrical charge for a special event and ensure the longest possible run time.
A solar panel that collects sun energy during the day is located on the top of the light fixture. This highly efficient solar panel collects enough energy during the day to provide 8 to 10 hours of free light during the night. This Stainless Steel Solar Light set uses 2 ultra-bright LEDs for maximum light output and minimum battery usage. It comes with 1 rechargeable Ni-Cd AA battery. The lights are safe and water and corrosion resistant.
No wiring is required to install your Solar Light set, no need to call an electrician, just stick the ground stakes in and they are ready to go!
Have a look at them in a night setting (video). These solar path lights emit a soothing glow and softly light up flowers and shrubbery surrounding them. They release just enough light to guide you along a path or accentuate the beauty of your garden.
Solar path lights fall into the category of solar accent lighting and are designed to mark a place. You can use them exclusively or to compliment other types of outdoor lighting. Perhaps somewhere where you don’t need extremely bright (like a solar spot light), but want something subtle, producing just the right amount of light.
This Stainless Steel Solar Path Light set is an excellent savings not only because you can buy it at a lower price from www.yoursolarlink.com, but also because you get free, clean and renewable solar energy while using them.

When it comes to outdoor lighting we have a vast number of options available to light up our houses, depending on our needs and desires. With the current energy crises in mind, some of us became intrigued by the idea of free energy for outdoor solar lights. But are outdoor solar lights good enough to replace our current and conveniently available electrical lights?

Looking at solar lights reviews from customers using what is available on the market today, and considering that those are legitimate reviews, there are still small inconveniences and prices you have to pay and consider before getting into free energy choices. My personal preference from everything I’ve seen on the Outdoor Solar Lights market is the Solar Motion Sensor Light.
In addition to having the obvious benefits of Outdoor Solar Lights, such as easy installation, the ability to place the light separately from the location of the solar panel itself (the panel is designed as a separate unit and connected to the light by a long wire) and safety at night in areas where I don’t have electricity access, a Solar Motion Sensor Light is much brighter than any other solar lights on a market and do not have to be charged every day. These benefits exist because a Solar Motion Sensor Light stays on only for a few seconds (5 to 30 seconds) at a time, allowing the charge to last up to 2 weeks without being exposed to the sun light. Also Solar Motion Sensor Lights are much brighter because they usually use on average 35+ LEDs as opposed to 1 or 2 LEDs as with your typical pathway solar light. Solar Motion Sensor Lights become an ideal solar light for northern parts of the country where sun is not available especially during winter days.
Also, as this light is not connected to your conventional electric energy source, it will always be there during your power outages. I would like to have that security!

With other outdoor solar lights still needing a bit more thought put into them, the Solar Motion Sensor Light is my choice for savings and an energy efficient outdoor lighting design complement.
