Chameleons in Your Garden. Ordinary Garden Rocks or Solar Rock Lights?
Just like chameleons Stone Solar Lights completely camouflage with existing landscapes and look like any other ordinary garden rock. Also known as Solar Rock Lights, they can be used to mark landscape hazards, such as steps or a large boulder that could be a hazard in the dark. They are a good alternative to cast light on shrubbery and low hedges, and to mark pathways. These Solar Spot Lights ...

Outdoor Lighting – Solar Motion Sensor Light.

Posted By: K.Kohlwes on January 15, 2010 in Solar News - Comments: 14 Comments »

When it comes to outdoor lighting we have a vast number of options available to light up our houses, depending on our needs and desires. With the current energy crises in mind, some of us became intrigued by the idea of free energy for outdoor solar lights. But are outdoor solar lights good enough to replace our current and conveniently available electrical lights?

Solar Sensor Light

Looking at solar lights reviews from customers using what is available on the market today, and considering that those are legitimate reviews, there are still small inconveniences and prices you have to pay and consider before getting into free energy choices. My personal preference from everything I’ve seen on the Outdoor Solar Lights market is the Solar Motion Sensor Light.

In addition to having the obvious benefits of Outdoor Solar Lights, such as easy installation, the ability to place the light separately from the location of the solar panel itself (the panel is designed as a separate unit and connected to the light by a long wire) and safety at night in areas where I don’t have electricity access, a Solar Motion Sensor Light is much brighter than any other solar lights on a market and do not have to be charged every day. These benefits exist because a Solar Motion Sensor Light stays on only for a few seconds (5 to 30 seconds) at a time, allowing the charge to last up to 2 weeks without being exposed to the sun light. Also Solar Motion Sensor Lights are much brighter because they usually use on average 35+ LEDs as opposed to 1 or 2 LEDs as with your typical pathway solar light. Solar Motion Sensor Lights become an ideal solar light for northern parts of the country where sun is not available especially during winter days.

Also, as this light is not connected to your conventional electric energy source, it will always be there during your power outages. I would like to have that security!

With other outdoor solar lights still needing a bit more thought put into them, the Solar Motion Sensor Light is my choice for savings and an energy efficient outdoor lighting design complement.

I’m the kind of hombre who enjoys to taste radical things. Presently I am building my own photovoltaic panels. I’m doing it all by myself without the aid of my staff. I am utilizing the net as the only way to acheive that. I encountered a really amazing site which explains how to create photovoltaic panels and so on. The place explains all the steps needed for building solar panels.

I’m not sure about how accurate the data given there is. If some experts over here who had experience with these works can have a look and give your feedback in the thread it would be grand and I’d extremely treasure it, because I truly take an interest in solar panel construction.

Tnx for reading this. U guys rock.

“I’m trying to find out what the best lighting is to make my property saferat night. What about those solar ones? Do they really work?”

      Good question.
We can honestly say that they do work! We tested this item ourselves. They work just like any electric motion security light, equipped with a very sensitive motion sensor and bright light output. A neighbor got one after he saw ours, he liked the idea of been able to put it in a place where there was no electricity…
